Recently moved to Mazatlan

I recently moved to Mazatlan and I used the Mexican Relocation Guide to help me with the transition. One of the realtors that was recommended was Rachel Olson. I cannot over state the incredible resource Rachel had been for me. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the market, the neighborhoods, and she listened to what I was looking for in a long term rental. She helped me select and negotiate the perfect place. I consider her and her husband Jorge my friends now! I don’t believe you can find a better person to help you with your move than Rachel Olson. Jorge and Rachel were amazing landlords. They were both so helpful and the house on Campana is amazing. It is super helpful that they are both bi-lingual. They met every one of our needs as soon as it was mentioned. They are very proud of their house and they should be. It shows in the way they take care of their tenants. I would highly recommend renting from them. You won’t regret it. We also got our full security deposit back which was really nice.

BY FAR the BEST Condo we have stayed in.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -> We stayed in one of the properties managed by Occan Properties at Camino al Mar for 2 weeks in Apr 2024. BY FAR, both Occan Properties and the condo EXCEEDED our expectations. Eunice (and Rachel) were extremely prompt at responding to any questions we had, both before and during our stay. The condo we stayed in faces West and is in an incredible location with an awesome view of the sea and the awe-inspiring sunsets. It’s in the North end of Zona Dorada (the Golden Zone) strip. Close to many, many great restaurants, and a short walk to the famous Mazatlan Malecon; also, within walking distance is the Grand Plaza (shopping mall), as well as Soriana Hiper (grocery store) and Sam’s Club. The condo has an extremely nice ‘rain shower head’ with great water pressure and hot water. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and FILTERED, drinkable water; a true luxury to have to drink and cook with. Secure building, with security guards 24/7. BY FAR the BEST Condo we have stayed in. We will, without hesitation be using and booking through Occan Properties again.

Occan Properties does an amazing job taking care of not only their property owners, but also their renters. Their attention to detail on maintaining our house is great. Whether it’s weekly/monthly services (Cleaning, gardening, etc), annual maintenance, or an emergency (Fridge breaks, no ice) they handle it all.

You are in good hands with Rachel and Jorge at Occan Properties.
