What Does the Cleaning Fee Cover?

In our vacation rentals, the cleaning fee covers the full check-out cleaning after the guest departs, along with all cleaning products and supplies used to prepare the property for the next arrival.
This ensures that every guest walks into a clean, sanitized, and well-prepared space.
The cleaning fee prior to the guest arrival is paid by the property owner. Bookings are not always back-to-back, so if there is more than 5-days between bookings, we will have the property cleaned and freshend-up a second time prior to guest arrival.
What Is Included in Our Cleaning Service?

Our standard cleaning service focuses on the areas that matter most for comfort, hygiene, and presentation. This includes:
- Full bathroom cleaning (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)
- Floors swept, vacuumed, and mopped
- Kitchen surfaces cleaned and sanitized
- Fridge cleaned and cleared of any perishable items left behind
- Countertops, tables, and common surfaces wiped down
- Bedrooms and living areas cleaned and refreshed, linnens and towels washed prior to guest arrival.
Please note that washing or putting away dishes is not included, as we ask guests to leave the kitchen reasonably tidy at check-out.
Deep cleanings are scheduled in the off-season when we can tend to all of the details on a propert-by-property basis. These are not identical hotel-rooms, and every property has unique attributes that need different amounts of care and attention.
Optional Cleaning During Your Stay
Guests staying longer can request additional cleaning services during their stay for an extra cost. This is a popular option for longer vacations or remote work stays.
Additional cleanings can include:
- General cleaning of bathrooms, floors, and surfaces
- Sweeping and moping floors and patios
- General kitchen cleaning (surfaces, stove, sink)
- Optional laundering of bed linens upon request
Laundry service does not include washing personal clothing, but we are happy to refresh sheets and towels when scheduled in advance.
Washing and putting away dishes is also not generally included in scheduled cleanings.
If you have any specific requests, please let us know in advance. Keep in mind that cleanings are completed within a set time window, so we may not be able to accommodate every additional detail during that timeframe.
Cleaning Time Slots Available
To make scheduling easy, we offer two dedicated cleaning time windows that guests can choose from:
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
